How long until I get my pictures back? I give 8 weeks for weddings and 2-4 (big range, I know 😉 ) weeks for the other sessions. This range depends on where we are in the busy season–but I’ll get them to you as soon as they are ready!
If I show you a picture I found on Pinterest that I love, can we do that? Not really. It may be good for inspiration, but I find that the best poses and pictures come from real moments. Trying to duplicate an image usually ends up very staged and awkward. But with that said, if you see something you really like, show me and we will make it into our own moment!
Do you offer mini sessions? Yes, but only at designated times of the year. Currently I run mini sessions in the spring in a beautiful blossoming cherry orchard! (Usually in April)
Do I get the digital images? Yes! I always give you digital images–you get much more freedom that way.
Can I print and share my photos anywhere I like? You bet! I give you a copyright release with your images for that reason. Please just tag Lana Jenae Photography on social media!
Can I order prints, albums, or canvases through you? Yes, I can send you prices if you are interested.
What is your cancellation policy? For weddings: the 40% downpayment is non-refundable and the remainder once paid in full (one month prior to the wedding) is non-refundable. For all other sessions payment is due on the day of the session.
Can I have the RAW images? No, I do not give you the RAW images. How I edit each image portrays my style, my brand and represents my work.
Do you reschedule for bad weather? Yes, but it depends on how busy I am. I will still shoot with cloud cover but if a golden-hour session is what your heart is set on, we will make sure that’s what you get!
Do you travel for sessions/weddings? Absolutely! I’ve shot weddings all over the USA and Canada and love seeing North America that way. I have always dreamed of real destination weddings or elopements so if you’re planning one, I’ll give you a great deal!
Do you offer mentoring/workshops? Not at this time. But if you want to grab coffee and chat, I’m all for it!
What should I wear for my session? Keep to your style-you’ll be most comfortable in that. But stay away from neon and graphic tees please:) Also keep in mind the location and what kind of feel you want in your images. Oh and textures and accessories always add a little flair!
Your photography style in 3 words: Colorful, genuine and playful.
How long have you been a photographer? 10 years–Going on 4 official years now with 6 more years purely out of enjoyment!
Do you have more questions for me? Ask me! I’ll add common questions to the ongoing list up there! 🙂
