Oh how we love this family!
Little Nathanael had just woke up from his nap but the smiles and laughter came soon after! haha 🙂
“I choose you. And I’ll choose you over and over and over. Without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat. I’ll keep choosing you.”
On a beautiful winter day in sunny southern California, Stephen and Rachelle said their vows. It was one of those days where leading up to it you had no idea how the weather would turn out, but at the same time, always knew deep down that it would be ok. And it was just that, and more. Surrounded by their close friends and family at a beautiful venue overlooking the Pacific, Stephen’s smile spread across his face when he saw his bride and we all watched (I snapped) and well.., it was contagious. It was so sweet. And I know God’s blessing was all around them. I’m so thankful I got to be a part of it 🙂
Here are my some of my favorites from the day!
And then we snuck away from everyone for my favorite part! Bride & Groom photos!
And as they said farewell, Stephen’s nieces came running! 🙂
Wishing you both all the happiness in the world!

On a beautiful November evening… these two love birds said their ‘i dos’!
My daughter and I, along with my sister headed all the way to Texas for this wedding! Our cousin Jewel (see her wedding HERE and HERE) introduced me to Madeline and upon hearing about her and her fiancé I knew I wanted to shoot this wedding. They’re both so kind and awesome and happen to be a fellow Canadian/American couple too! (my heart goes out to all those having to wait on papers to get married, been there, done that!) They have wonderful and loving families and I’m so thrilled it all worked out! Plus I love getting to travel for my job so thats always a bonus 🙂
We stayed with my cousin in Texas and drove all the way to Abbeville Louisiana for this beautiful Southern wedding so it was a “work trip” with lots of pleasure involved – the best kind 😉
Because Madeline and Tylan didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony we did two little mini sessions with the girls and guys out in the real Louisiana back woods! So much sugar cane and crawdad holes! (SO very new to me! and yes I was on the constant lookout for snakes;)
I love watching the groom as his bride walks down the aisle 🙂
The gorgeous reception was held at an open barn, filled with twinkly lights, antique thrifted china and candles and beautiful florals!
The little sweetie got the bouquet!
Such a beautiful couple surrounded by their beautiful families!
