Chad & Sami Married!

On this cold and snowy Saturday, I’m taking you back to my first wedding of the summer! I had the privilege of shooting with my dear friend Jackie (Jackie Zurfluh Photography)! Who I love and admire so much!

You guys, they had donuts. Like beautiful yummy stacked donuts — instead of cake. I had too many to mention but it was the coolest thing ever, haha 🙂 I just love personal touches to a wedding – from the desert to Sami’s bouquet with one of her baby shoes woven into it, to the singing toasts and a old Chevy truck! They were surrounded by their loved ones as they said their ‘i dos’ on a warm summer day up at Sami’s family home. And even though it rained during their actual ‘i dos’, it held off for the rest of the day and it was beautiful!! Here are my favs from the day!!

I mean, don’t they just make your mouth start watering?!!! 😉

And these deer greeted us on our way out!

Tade & Vicky e-session!

Good Morning, and happy Monday friends!

Today I’m bringing you back to the beginning of summer with these two love birds! Their engagement session was nothing short of adventurous and epic!

I had one of my favorite locations in mind, but when we arrived it was much different than the last time I had been there – thats what a winter season does to a riverbed. BUT it was sooo cool – in a new way! At one point Tade looked at me with an “oh, you’re not joking” face when I suggested they take their shoes off and climb the fallen tree but as he looked over at his Vicky, she was already climbing up! So we had a good laugh and the rest is history! 🙂 We LOVED how they turned out!

Here are my favs from that beautiful evening!

So much love for you both!

Ellery’s Senior Session!

I had such a wonderful year with so many darling seniors! And I can’t wait to show you all of their beautiful sessions! I really feel so blessed by each one and can’t wait for next year’s sessions to start 🙂

So without further ado, meet my cousin Ellery! She’s such a sweetheart and I had the privilege of taking her photos at the beautiful “Austin Land of Dreams” – my grandparents property up in Canada on my last visit! So we jumped on a quad and drove out to a place I had been dying to shoot at (the property has so many locations) – a little birch forest tucked in near Oak Ridge. The light was perfect, her curls (always) match her spirit and other than the very curious horses we had a wonderful time! 😉 Enjoy!

Barragan Family!

Hi there folks! Here I am, 8 months pregnant and ready to start blogging this years beautiful sessions! Let’s do this!

First up, I have this gorgeous family! We met up on one of the few sunshine streaming evenings in October (wow, was it ever a rainy month!) and had a wonderful evening playing with the boys! Enjoy!

Oh and if you’re feeling nostalgic, I did their family session last year too! It’s such a treat when I get to see the growth of a family through my lens as the years go by 🙂

much love!

Thank you for these lovely pictures!!

A little update!

Well, are there any readers still out there?!

If there are, this post is for you:) haha! I apologize for the lack of blog posts but this summer has been NUTS! and I feel like that is a genuine understatement… buuuut it has still been great! Busy but good 🙂 With autumn upon us now, I feel like we can finally start to decompress and settle back into our normal for this season. (yay!)

We went on a little family outing the other day (up at Green Bluff!!) so I felt it was only fitting to blog that as the most recently updated pictures 🙂 My hubby is in his LAST semester of nursing school and we are SO excited for graduation (only 70 some days away!). My belly is growing quickly (did you know we were expecting number 2?! haha) and I’m feeling more and more pregnant as we are going into our 23rd week! Little Rowen is our chatter box – she talks and talks and names people, things, body parts etc.. she loves to learn what everything is! She’s quirky and silly and hilarious… when she’s not being a stubborn, whiney, or a strong willed miss sassafras, hehe 😉 We really do adore her!

This summer has also been really busy with photo sessions! Which I can’t wait to show you! But you’ll have to wait until blogging season, aka, winter is here 😉 Until then, my business instagram (@lanajenaephotography) is filled with sneak peaks of all things photography related and my personal (@lanajenae_cor) is packed with many adventures and such from this summer! So feel free to check them out!

Much love to you all! oxox

Enjoy your beautiful autumn!!
