Ryan & Melissa are Married! (part 1)

Time for another beautiful wedding from last summer!

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting both Ryan and Melissa at a few other weddings I’ve photographed so I was so excited to be able to be their photographer as well! They really are such a beautiful sweet couple and both have incredible loving families. I enjoyed this wedding so much!

This wedding was actually held back in my home provence of Manitoba! So it was good to be on home turf again! They planned a beautiful country wedding–backroads, corn fields, barn dancing, antler decor, all that good stuff! (oh and mosquitos.. lots of those awful suckers. haha) The day called for rain but once again the weather report was wrong and the sun even peaked out a few times! They got married at their friends property nestled in the birch forests and wheat fields, said their “I dos” before God and their loved ones and danced under a blanket of stars and twinkly lights. *sigh* It was a beautiful day filled with beautiful people. I really love weddings like this!

Here’s part one of their wedding day! Sit back and enjoy!

She was so happy to have a dress with POCKETS! And it was a linen textured dress–such a cool addition to the country theme! It was a perfect “melissa” dress!

We headed out to the middle of nowhere for the bride & maids photos! Finding hidden gems while slapping mosquitos 😉

I headed over to see the guys once the ladies were back in the house and can I just say that it is SO nice when the guys get ready in a well lit area? I mean, dark basements work, but this B&B was so cute!!

The ceremony was precious!Stay tuned for part two coming up!!

Hi all! Here I share my images, thoughts and tid-bits of my life! I love quiet mornings, the smells of summer and flowers have stolen a part of my heart; I have so many nicknames for my babies--smoochie and smoochie-roochie being two of them and I am a BIG FAN of chocolate (not the candy-bar kind--but the snob-ish darker richer kind, haha) Thanks for stopping by!
